Job Description :

Our client is a growing local HQ that is consolidating their FP&A team to Charlotte.  This is a great opportunity to join a Multi-Billion Dollar Manufacturing HQ that is in a high growth mode.  The Leadership Team is TOP NOTCH from Fortune 200 organizations and they are seeking candidates that they can groom for leadership roles.



Job Responsibilities



  • Customer Profitability reporting and analysis

  • Partner with commercial team (Sales, Product Management, Operations)

  • Generation and upkeep of weekly tracking tools & actions

  • Contract analysis & development

  • Price management/ development

  • Product cost and margin analysis- SKU & Flow stream level

  • Price/raws analysis and trending

  • Manage customer rebate programs

  • Tracking of customer claims/product returns

  • Product/customer/market profitability analysis

  • Transfer price management

  • Sales forecast process w/ SOIP leadership (prices/revenue)

  • Contract price management

  • Market data trends/analysis


Key Success Factors



  • Develop strong working relationships with customer service, Global SOIP Leadership, Sales & Marketing Leadership and regional and corporate finance teams

  • Understand Product Cost, Cost Accounting, Margin Analysis from an operational and accounting standpoint

  • Work closely with Finance/Operations to develop process for analyzing customer profitability, product margins, and profitability

  • Be able to communicate system requirements and develop plan/ project to implement solutions


Required Qualifications :


  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance/engineering/business, with MBA a plus.

  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably with Manufacturing Background

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Mastery of computer applications (MS Office Super User, PPT, Excel, etc.) 

  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork qualities in a diverse and demanding environment

  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining “big picture" view of the business

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams within a matrix organization.
