Job Description :
Our client is a growing HQ in South Charlotte.  Due to a recent organizational change, they are adding a Corporate Controller to focus on their domestic business lines.



The Regional Finance Director – Americas will act as the finance business partner to all business activities for its region. The role is responsible for the finance activities in the region Americas including financial statement integrity and compliance and Financial and Planning activities under his/her scope.  This role has a close working relationship with the Regional Executive Management Team.



  • Responsible for operating the Financial cycle in his/her geography (budget, forecast, strategic plan) with controllers in cooperation with BU Finance teams

  • Support deployment and monitoring of financial KPIs

  • Investment and business opportunities evaluation through standard business case process

  • Lead all analytic activities in collaboration with BU Finance Teams: P&L, Capital Employed, Free Cash Flow, Capex (pre-closing review, monthly actual performance, actual vs budget/forecast, etc)

  • In charge of coordinating and executing the Finance Transformation in Americas (SAP implementation, other initiatives…)

  • Responsible for applying internal processes and control credit policies within his/her geography region in cooperation with the Central Credit Group

  • Pro-actively communicating on best practices and ensuring the accuracy and quality of the financial reporting

  • Support any M&A activities in his Region (as required)

  • Support the standardization of Finance (data, process, system)

  • Ensuring integrity, completeness and quality of financial information and reporting, in accordance with corporate policies, IFRS and local regulations of the legal entities under his/her responsibilities

  • Supervise closing activities as per corporate calendar, including all specific requirements

  • Supervise all compliance, tax, treasury, audit, and internal controls activities of legal entities under his/her responsibilities

  • Ensure adhere to policies and procedures of legal entities under his/her responsibilities

  • Execute as per corporate guidance, any corporate structure transactions and reorganizations (as required)

  • Manage the Finance Americas Controlling team performance to ensure that they meet their objectives and answer to the Management of each BU

  • Manage employees’ performance to ensure they meet their objectives

  • Develop and coach team members, and execute succession planning activities for own scope as well as play an active role with the global Finance team


Required Qualifications :


  • BS Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 10+ years demonstrated experience with the last years in a management/senior position within a large organization

  • Action and Outcome-Orientated as well as highly organized

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and building Customer Relationships

  • Operational Decision Making and driving Execution

  • Strategic Influence and business Acumen
