Job Description :

Process Payroll Bi-Weekly


          Set-up new hires in system


          Enter all changes, i.e. address, salary, support/garnishment orders, etc.


          Review and verify time cards/sheets and enter hours into system


          Run reports and submit payroll to ADP when input done and approved by CFO


 


Compensation:


Research salaries in regards to market and pay studies to monitor pay ranges per employee positions to help verify pay structure including bonuses and raises.  Process performance reviews and salary changes annually.


 


Benefits:


          Handle all administrative duties in regards to day to day benefit services


Participate in meetings to review and determine benefits annually and handle open enrollment for employees


Assist employees with claim problems and other issues that come up


Administer 401K plan and employee enrollment


Administer any disability and workers compensation claims handling OSHA reporting as required


          Review and verify invoices for benefits and give to AP for processing


 


Safety:


          Member of the safety committee meeting quarterly


Communicate with headquarters on safety tracking and training required by corporate including the annual HSE day


          Administer safety training to new hires and recertification of forklift training as


required by OSHA


Maintain OSHA log and handle any worker compensation claims


 


General HR


Review and revise policies and procedures as required, i.e. safety manual, employee handbook, evacuation plan, job descriptions, etc.


Communicate with Germany on compliance and other HR issues as  required


Handle all employee issues including and up to hiring process, performance issues and disciplinary actions.


          Assist with event planning, i.e. Christmas party, annual picnic etc.


          Support all department managers in personnel issues when needed


Required Qualifications :


  • Must be highly self-motivated

  • Must possess extreme confidentiality

  • Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and written at different levels with internal employees, management, and vendors.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel

  • Must have a general knowledge of employment law.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration +2 years of HR related experience
