Summary:  We are working with a global manufacturing organization that markets and distributes sophisticated industrial grade products. The company is in the midst of an exciting new chapter and looking to bring on a strong Manufacturing Manager as someone transitions to a new role.


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Ensure the plant performance meets divisional goals and meets or exceeds customer requirements

  • Proactively seek ways to improve manufacturing performance (Safety, Quality, Delivery and Efficiency)

  • Drive lean manufacturing standards

  • Identify opportunities to enhance production technologies

  • Develop skill set of manufacturing team and maximize workforce utilization

  • Work to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

  • Communicate and collaborate with other divisional manufacturing managers

  • Adhere to delivery and production schedules while remaining practical and flexible according to customer needs

  • Create relevant, timely and accurate management reporting


Required Qualifications :

Essential skills:



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required

  • Practical working experience in a manufacturing operation for a minimum of 10 years with managerial experience of at least 3 years

  • Metal processing experience background

  • Experience in manufacturing managerial function from materials, logistics, manufacturing and engineering preferred

  • Knowledge of inspection and quality control methods, techniques, and equipment

  • Must be familiar with LEAN manufacturing and Six Sigma disciplines; certification is preferred

  • Must be familiar with ISO 9001 standards
