The Financial Reporting team oversees all aspects of external financial reporting, including SEC filings, financial disclosures for press releases, equity administration and has direct involvement in the annual audit process. The team also provides technical accounting support for the organization and manages the corporate accounting functions, including debt, equity, employee compensation and fixed assets. 

Primary Responsibilities

Equity Administration

  • Own the Company’s equity compensation administration, including equity grants approvals, vestings and exercises

  • Provide critical reporting for Executive Management and the Compensation Committee

  • Manage communications as the Company’s lead coordinator 

  • Lead the process to compile compensation-related disclosures for the annual Proxy statement

Financial Accounting and Reporting

  • Own the end-to-end accounting for equity compensation and common stock, including:

    • Valuation for stock options

    • Equity compensation expense

    • Common stock reconciliations (including Treasury stock repurchases)

    • Equity rollforward

    • Weighted-average shares outstanding

  • Own the accounting for certain accruals and debt transactions

  • Provide monthly internal reporting for Executive Management

  • Prepare footnote and MD&A disclosures for quarterly SEC filings (10-Q/10-K)

  • Prepare and file documents with the SEC

  • Prepare governmental reporting as needed

Accounting system/process/controls

  • Proactively suggest improvements to accounting processes to gain efficiencies

  • Identify and resolve technology issues by coordinating with appropriate staff

  • Perform appropriate controls within assigned areas of responsibility in accordance with SOX requirements

Other duties

  • Actively participate in Accounting Department projects to meet Company goals

  • Participate as assigned in new business projects/processes

  • Coordinate activities associated with the annual audit

Required Qualifications :

  • BS in Accounting

  • 2+ years of accounting experience, public experience preferred

  • CPA or CPA in process is highly preferred  

  • Very strong Excel skills

  • Must be well-liked by teams you’ve worked on in the past
