Job Description :


  • Prepare and record monthly closing entries and work papers in a timely and efficient manner

  • Assess and pursue opportunities for maximization of client billing

  • Communicate with the Accounts Receivable Supervisor in order to provide observations and actions taken

  • Enter invoices into accounts payable and research any unbilled issues to optimize the billing possibilities for the billing period

  • Work with the Accounts Receivable Supervisor to reconcile variances that occur in the application of payment

  • Generate and distribute monthly receivables, payables and profitability reports

  • Set up new projects, make transfers of employee billable hours and/or expenses, and open and close time classes in company system

  • Review weekly time sheets, along with the accounting group

  • Analyze and record adjustments to Deferred Revenue and other P & L accounts monthly, as assigned by the CFO

  • Recommend and implement agreed upon process improvements

  • Prepare special project analyses for the project management team

  • Communicate and coordinate with the local offices and remote resources

  • Prepare and compose business process analyses documents

  • Ensure proper control of change management procedures: Maintain Client Contract documentation to ensure that all billing milestones, contract terms, and contract conditions are communicated to the stakeholders and adhered to appropriately and that necessary approvals have been received and recorded


  


 


Required Qualifications :

 



  • Bachelor’s Degree or some college courses in accounting. 

  • Must have experience preparing journal entries and reports

  • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including experience in word processing, spreadsheets and accounting software.

  • Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to dynamic changes in priorities

  • Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion

  • Employ problem-solving skills and analysis, and report problems to the Accounting and Project Manager(s), as necessary

  • High degree of accuracy and accountability

  • Strong desire and ability to provide excellent service is required

  • Stable work history
