Job Description :


  • Prepare and load journal entries

  • Maintain reconciliations and amortization of certain prepaid expenses and related journal entries

  • Evaluate monthly expense accruals and propose related journal entries 

  • Ensure proper reconciliation of general ledger accounts by creating monthly reconciliations

  • Administer Sales Commission Program to include:  


    • Monthly, Quarterly & Annual calculations for sales personnel

    • Validation of commission calculations and research of discrepancies and disputes

    • Commission system maintenance, commission plan maintenance, and employee maintenance

    • Processing of Sales Quotas as provided by Sales Team

    • Accounting Accruals related to the commissions

    • Calculations of related pay sheets and co-ordination with Payroll team


  • Testing of Commissions environment as part of regular maintenance and new initiatives launched related to commission programs

  • Help facilitate quarterly reviews and annual year-end audit by external auditors.

  • Help facilitate timely and accurate ad hoc reporting requirements including governmental census requirements, miscellaneous information requests from senior management and other functional departments/distribution centers.

  • Support of Finance technology initiatives

  • Assist in the development and continued performance of a proper internal control environment around the general ledger function

  • Other accounting and reporting tasks as assigned

  • Special projects


Required Qualifications :


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting/financial reporting, and preparation of financial statements

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Results oriented and self-motivated

  • Strong analytical and problem - solving skills and Good interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask and deliver timely/accurate financial data

  • Strong computer skills, especially proficient with Microsoft Excel & Word

  • Experience with Oracle preferred
