What You'll Do: 

 



  • Conduct workplace investigations in complex situations, demonstrating effective listening, probing, and investigatory skills with the ability to synthesize data, identify root cause problems, and recommend actions to resolve

  • Conduct timely, objective, and thorough internal investigations including but not limited to allegations of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation and prepare all required documentation

  • Review and identify case data to identify trends, potential risk areas and opportunities for improving management capability and organization’s policies and practices

  • Assist organization’s legal team (as needed) on employment litigation

  • Engage with employees and leadership across the organization to enable business strategies, conduct ER related assessments and investigations, and discuss continuous improvement opportunities to foster a positive employee experience

  • Recognizes the need for modifications to HR policies and procedures, and proposes appropriate changes, including writing and/or re-writing policies and procedures to facilitate the necessary approvals

  • Promote knowledge, understanding, and compliance regarding company policy and relevant employment laws through coaching and training

  • Leverage insights to influence all levels of the organization and effectively handle complex employee situations that could have high organizational impact

  • Collaborate with HR partners and management regarding employee relation issue

Required Qualifications :
What You'll Bring 

 


 



  • Bachelor's degree in related field required; Master's or MBA a plus

  • Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a dedicated Employee Relations Role

  • Solid knowledge of employee relations, complex workplace investigations, federal and state laws / regulations

  • Strong consulting skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with, influence and coach leaders across all levels of the organization

  • Strong consultative and analytical skills and ability to exercise independent judgment based on core policies and practices of the Company

  •  Thrive in a fast-paced work environment, maintains a positive frame of mind and sets an example of professionalism for other employees

  • Ability to handle high-sensitive and confidential situations with objectivity, candor, and confidence

  • Extensive negotiation, counseling and conflict management experience
