Job Description :

Our client is a mid-market commercial products organization moving their corporate HQ here in Charlotte, NC! The company is a carve-out of a larger publicly traded conglomerate. This will be a great opportunity to help build a world-class company from the ground up. 



This is a newly created role that will report to the Chief Operating Officer with a heavy dotted line into the finance leadership. As an analyst, you'll be actively involved in supporting distribution and fabrication operations. The role will require 30% travel. 


  • Create analytics/KPI’s for distribution and fabrication operations such as cost models, operational analyses, SOPs, gross margins, etc

  • Develop and publish fabrication production scorecards

  • Create and maintain a net-cost database for key product categories and provide ad-hoc analyses from the database to the supply chain team

  • Create and maintain a cost increase, fuel surcharge and freight cost database for all key suppliers and products

  • Develop and publish Supply Chain scorecards

  • Perform SKU Master maintenance in the ERP

  • Help drive improved operational performance through the development of key metrics for inclusion in scorecards across the assigned organizations

  • Perform ad hoc analyses, including cost to produce fabrication products manually vs using automation

  • Provide analytic support for ongoing business initiatives

  • Provide analytical support to corporate and branch personnel as needed

  • Manage all special projects and ad hoc analyses with efficiency and enthusiasm

  • Using knowledge of information systems, create reports and analysis of data for the business



Required Qualifications :


  • strong analytical skills with the ability to drill down into the details

  • familiar with a broad range of software and modeling tools

  • undergraduate degree in finance, business, supply chain, or similar. 

  • willingness to travel up to 30%
