Job Description :

Responsible for all cargo release related activities required to ensure all necessary information is accurate, available, meets legal requirements and ensures correct invoicing to the customer. Drive increased (internal & external) customer satisfaction by providing quality customer service while complying with corporate directives




Responsibilities: 



  • Tracking of inbound/outbound shipments with ocean and air freight carriers

  • Deep understanding of carrier and delivery process

  • Communication of cargo status to clientele

  • Accurate and timely distribution of documentation

  • Arrangement of timely cargo delivery

  • Coordination between shipping lines, air lines, and common carriers

  • Monitoring and understanding of in-transit cargo and documentation requirements

  • Negotiation of freight rates with common carriers and warehouses

  • Ability to perform in multinational office environment

  • Establishment of best practices and the performance of duties in accordance with internal and client-established KPIs


Required Qualifications :


  • College degree or equivalent work experience preferred

  • Two year of customer service or transportation industry experience preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Can work independently but also a team player/contributor

  • Can relate to people at all levels of an organization           

  • Customer focused

  • Proven ability to deliver even under pressure

  • Working knowledge of MS office products and strong ability to quickly adapt to new systems
