Job Description :

The Senior Payroll Analyst is responsible for the processing and completion of semi-monthly and weekly payroll, payroll reports, benefits entries, new hire entries and resolving employee issues relating to payroll/company policies. The position requires a solid working knowledge of payroll best practices and strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.





  • Maintain timely, accurate, compliant, and confidential payroll processes

  • Maintain compliance with company policies, and applicable local, state, and federal laws

  • Accountable for maintaining integrity of employee data in Fidelity Payroll systems

  • Semi-Monthly/Weekly payroll processing for 4000+ employees

  • Process and update leave information, accruals, and absences

  • Review time sheets and attendance records and correct inaccuracies

  • Run payroll reports monthly and perform audits on reports

  • Interprets pay policies (e.g. vacation, disability, workers compensation, withholding exemptions) and ensures appropriate amounts/deductions are calculated and applied correctly

  • Process manual checks when needed

  • File & remit answers to garnishments, writs, & levy orders served to the Company




Required Qualifications :

·         5+ years’ work experience in multi-state payroll


·         Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills


·         Demonstrated organizational abilities


·         Familiarity using Excel, ideally pivot tables and v-lookups


·         Professional with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information


·         Ability to interact with employees at all levels of the company in a professional and courteous manner


·         Understanding of multi state payroll taxes and employment compliance


·         Associate's degree or equivalent training and education


·         Experience working on varies Payroll/HRIS systems


·         Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills


·         Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
