TalentBridge has partnered with a global manufacturing organization with a site in the St Louis, MO area on a search for their next Plant Manager.

Responsibilities:   



  • The Plant Leader will be responsible for safely planning, quality, productivity, cost savings, directing and coordinating production to meet customer demand.

  • Work with functional leaders to guide and support the plant

  • Be responsible for several assembly production line output

  • Manage continuous improvement program by utilizing lean tools to result in scrap reduction, increased production rates, and downtime reduction

  • Ensuring product quality, on-time shipping, and engineering teams are managed.

  • Develop and maintain budget

  • Monitor all operations metrics and trigger corrective actions

  • Develop systems and processes with team that track and optimize productivity standards, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets


Required Qualifications :


  • Bachelor's degree, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering required

  • 5+ years of Plant Management or equivalent experience and 10+ years of Manufacturing experience

  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification 

  • Possess excellent leadership qualities and the demonstrated ability to build/maintain an effective team

  • Demonstrated experiences supporting and implementing Lean Manufacturing on the shop floor

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, cost reduction, product quality, productivity and customer service excellence

  • Knowledge of quality concepts (SPC, Cpk, 5S, FMEA, 8D)

  • Prior experience with budgets and financial systems required 

  • Large scale ERP/MPR Experience
