Tax Administrative Assistant


We are currently recruiting for an incredible opportunity to work for a well-established Accounting firm in the Charlotte area! This role will challenge you daily and equip you with an excellent administrative skill set to take your career to the next level.


 


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Responsible for administrative support to the tax department but supporting the assembly and mailing of tax returns, notices, and other documents related to the tax filing process.

  • Responsible for all mail functions for the office

  • Editing and formatting documents including converting PDF documents to Word documents and visa versa

  • Clerical functions include scanning, filing, making copies, filing and providing back up support to the receptionist

  • Provide additional support to office when needed.

  • Responsible for production support and basic client relations to ensure returns are filed both in hard copy by mail and electronic filing

Required Qualifications :

Requirements



  • 2 year associates degree or Bachelors Degree Preferred in Accounting, Finance or related field.

  • Strong MS Suite skill set including strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Prefer exposure to Adobe Suite

  • Ability to work overtime when needed

  • Ability to Multi-task

  • Team player

  • Can do Attitude

  • Desire to Learn
